Expertise

Yvonne Kerth specializes in advising on project development and litigation in the energy sector, with a particular focus on renewable energies. For more than a decade, she has advised clients on wind energy projects, in particular offshore wind. She also regularly advises on public law and real estate law. Yvonne Kerth was a lecturer in energy law at the University of Reutlingen from 2016 to 2023.

Profile

Yvonne Kerth studied at Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg where she subsequently worked as a research assistant at the Jean Monnet Chair for European Law. Her dissertation "Emissions Trading in Community Law" was awarded with the 1st prize of the Environmental Award of the Society for Environmental Law (Gesellschaft für Umweltrecht, GfU) in 2004. Prior to founding the law firm Dannecker & Kerth, Yvonne Kerth was a lawyer at Gleiss Lutz for more than 10 years, most recently as an associate partner. In 2011 she worked for Herbert Smith in London. Yvonne Kerth is a member of the Society for Environmental Law. She speaks German, English and French.
